Delta unveils new suite design, posh plane; plans upgrade for old, dated cabins

Delta Takes Flight with Luxurious Next-Gen Suites
Delta Air Lines is setting new standards in luxury air travel as it unveils its next-generation Delta One suites, debuting on the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000. With enhanced privacy and comfort, these upgrades aim to redefine the premium flying experience.
A Premiere Flying Experience
In an ambitious move, Delta announced the introduction of its next-generation Delta One product, slated for its incoming Airbus A350-1000. The newly designed suites, complete with lie-flat beds, sliding doors, and plush bedding, promise unmatched luxury and privacy for business-class travelers. With 53 suites on board, passengers will enjoy spacious settings accompanied by state-of-the-art features like 24-inch 4K seatback screens and advanced seat comfort.
Revamps for the Classics
Not stopping at new planes, Delta plans to rejuvenate its aging fleet. Beginning this September, the airline will retrofit 42 of its older Airbus A330s, integrating Delta One suites and modern amenities, closing a gap left by outdated designs. This strategic overhaul ensures even long-haul flyers enjoy contemporary conveniences.
Taking Off to New Horizons
The ultramodern A350-1000 is set to embark on global journeys, reaching distant destinations like India and Saudi Arabia. With its expansive range and premium seating, Delta is poised to capture the hearts of international travelers seeking top-tier comfort and service.
"We're creating a next generation of product that allows us to keep evolving," said Mauricio Parise, Delta's VP of brand experience, highlighting the airline's commitment to maintaining high standards in the skies.
