JetBlue’s first-class ‘BlueFirst’ is now on sale

JetBlue's 'BlueFirst' Takes Off: A New Era of Affordable Luxury in the Sky
JetBlue is elevating its game with the launch of BlueFirst, a new first-class cabin set to debut this December. The initiative is part of JetBlue's bid to tap into premium revenue streams that have long been dominated by its competitors.
The Grand Unveiling
Slated to debut on December 8th, BlueFirst will make its inaugural flight from Boston Logan International Airport to Fort Lauderdale, marking a significant milestone in JetBlue's domestic offerings. Initially available on select routes, the cabin features spacious seating and premium amenities like Bluetooth-enabled entertainment systems and enhanced legroom.
Beyond Just Comfort
Unlike typical airline meals, BlueFirst promises a unique dining experience with "bento-inspired" boxes, although passengers should not expect oven-heated meals as part of this service. In introducing BlueFirst, JetBlue also plans to retrofit aircraft gradually, aiming for widespread availability across its network by 2028.
An Ambitious Rollout
This evolution signals JetBlue's intent to capture the premium market fiercely. While the airline is already known for its Mint business class on transcontinental flights, BlueFirst expands its reach into domestic skies, appealing to both savvy travelers and loyal Mosaic members with new upgrade options. The result is an elevated experience without straining passenger budgets.
